Blonde Redhead @ Istanbul Modern

I was too horny to go all the events and concerts this week. This is Blonde Redhead concert at Istanbul Modern Museum's garden. It was cool but the worst sound system i have ever saw and heard in my life.
Singer/guitarist Kazu Makino is from Japan and twin
brothers Simone and Amedeo Pace (drummer/programmer and
singer/guitarist, respectively) are from Italy.

Their last album, Melody Of Certain Damaged Lemons came out
in 2000. Since then, the band has toured the globe, playing
shows with fellow rainmakers Unwound, Black Heart
Procession, Man or Astro-Man? and even toured with the Red
Hot Chili Peppers and Foo Fighters.

Later in 2000, the e.p., Melodie Citronique, was released
and features an entirely new song, a Serge Gainsbourg
cover, a Third Eye Foundation Remix and French and Italian
versions of songs from Melody.

The band has just completed an amazing new album for
release in early 2004, recorded by Ryan Hadlock, mixed by
John Goodmanson and produced by Gu

Bu hafta gerçekten karşıma çıkan bütün organizasyonlara katıldım hayır demek bilmeden. Blonde Redhead benim çok takip ettiğim bir grup olmasada Gürkan o kadar ısrarcı ve istekliydi ki bilet bulma konusunda bu azim benide kışkırttı. Gitmemde ki en başlıca sebep Gürkan olmakla birlikte bunun yanı sıra, biletlerin sold out olması ve insanların bu duruma kudurması ve benim bir biletimin olması, ayrıca daha önce modern in bahçesinde hiç bir konser izlememiş olmam ayrıca jaz festivainin resmi açılış konseri olması gibi etkenlerde vardı.
Hayatımda karşılaştığım en kötü ses sistemiydi ne yazıkki ama konser buna ragmen çok başarılıydı. Her şarkıyı bilmiyor olmama ragmen severek dinledim ve bir sürü video çektim ama benim videolarımdaki ses o kadar kötü çıkmışki çektiğim yerin kolonlara yakınlığı sebebi ile, bu yüzden youtube dan başka bir video koymaya karar verdim.
Konseri Sarp'ın sunuyor olması ise artık gülmeme sebep oldu. Sarpı gördüğümde "Bayanlar ve baylar, az sonra karşınızda.... "diye başlayan bir cümle kuracak diye tedirgin oluyorum. Sarp'a kep törenimde beni sunmasını rica ettim ama bakalım göreceğiz. Hiç fena olmaz gerçi..." Bayanlar ve baylar karşınızda son yılların en muhteşem mezunu Levent Dokuzer"
Ayrıca konser senelerdir görmediğim bir sürü arkadasımı görmeme vesile oldugu içinde keyifli bir gece geçirdim.
Blonde Redhead'i kaçıranlar hiç üzülmesin çünkü bu kadar ilgi karşısında şok olan grup 100 kere falan teşekkür etti eminim tekrar geleceklerdir kısa bir süre içinde ama umarım bu sefer İKSV getirmez...
